Gin & Jams @ Bar on the Hill: Celebrating the Launch of State-of-the-Art Sound System

Gin & Jams, a live music event marks the launch and celebration of the newly installed, state-of-the-art speaker and lighting system at Bar on the Hill.

This event aims to showcase the venue and support the local music and entertainment scene. Bar on the Hill, an iconic entertainment venue for both the University of Newcastle and the greater Newcastle region, has recently undergone a significant upgrade to its in-house audio-visual system. Thanks to the university's investment, the venue now boasts one of the best PA systems in Newcastle for a medium to large venue. This upgrade will allow Bar on the Hill to continue its iconic legacy and become a prominent player in the entertainment industry.

To showcase the capabilities of the new sound system, we have gathered the best local musical talent Newcastle has to offer. Join us on Saturday 19th August to experience the incredible performances by bands and musicians such as Saylor and the Flavour, Abbi Yeo Band, Masters of Sunset, Slapjack, SF Wrens, and SPUZ. These talented artists will take the stage and demonstrate the full potential of the upgraded PA system. 

Gin & Jams is proudly supported by Earp Distilling Co and Young Henry's. Earp Distilling Co will be on-site, serving their world-class gins and specialised cocktails, making it the perfect complement to the musical jams.

This event promises to be a delightful evening filled with local talent, local gin, and world-class sound.
